    FASTNESS by ROUSILLON out of CITY FORTRESS by TROY is a very speedy Grade 1 winning grandson of RIVERMAN.

FASTNESS showed his speed, going the distance, and

• equaled the track record in the Shoemaker Breeders' Cup Mile (Gr. 2) - 1.32 3/5

• set the Hollywood Park course record for 1 1/8 miles in the Citation Handicap (Gr. 2)

• set a new stakes record in the Inglewood Handicap (Gr. 3).

From four crops to race FASTNESS has sired:

• two stakes winners: LE CINQUIEME ESSAI ($500,000 Prince of Wales Stakes in July 2002) and MULTIPLICITY (stakes winner, multiple stakes placed)
