   At 2, Activist was not raced.  

   At 3, Activist won a 1 mile maiden special at Aqueduct (in 1:34, by 8 1/2 lengths over Las Vegas Ernie,  Mister Jiggs, Greedy, etc.); 3rd in a maiden special at Santa Anita (to Auto Corsage, Rosanoli's Delight, defeating Grey West, Semiwest, Adamus, etc.).

   Activist ran in the Grade 2 Wood Memorial in his 3rd start finishing fifth to Captain Bodget who finished second in the Kentucky Derby.
